powershipping + on a boat?
Thank you, dear Anon, for being the very first person to request a prompt and asking for power <33
it’s not smut but there are mentions of fukken so i’m putting it under a cut
Seto Kaibalooked positively green as he clutched the railing of the boat with one handand held his rolling stomach with the other. The swaying of the boat was makinghis innards do flip flops, and he was sure if they didn’t reach theirdestination soon, he would empty the contents of his stomach into the sea.”
“I neverpictured you as the type to get seasick.” He heard Malik approach from behindand felt the other’s hand rest on the small of his back.
“This was ahorrible idea,” Seto huffed in lieu of a proper reply. He didn’t look at Malikeven as the other leaned against the railing beside him. He kept his eyestrained on the horizon. “Next time we travel anywhere, we’re taking a God damnplane.”
“Yes,because I really want to get into a giant flying metal cylinder. The last timewe went to Osaka was bad enough.”
“That was just a little bit of turbulence. It’s normal.”
“I saw my life pass before my eyes.”
“The odds ofa plane crashing is-“
Malik cuthim off. “One in a million, I know. We had this conversation when you told meabout this trip.”
“Correction.We had an argument.”
Malik smirked.“True.”
Kaiba tookhis eyes away from the water to glance down at Malik. He looked completely andperfectly at ease; he wore a white tank top and black harem pants, and themajority of his hair was pulled into a messy ponytail. The loose hair floatedaround in his face in the breeze, and the beginning of the sunset lit it up like gold, giving him an almost ethereal glow. Dark kohl surrounded his amethyst eyes anda bit of bronzer highlighted his cheeks and Cupid ’s bow, drawing Seto’sattention to his mouth.  All at once Setowas reminded of just how beautiful Malik was, and how he sometimes resembled afucking god in the right lighting(though he would never tell the brat that), and all he could think about washow nice it would be to kiss him right then.
But justthen his lunch of sashimi and nagiri filled his mouth, and he doubled over therailing and let it fall into the churning water below.
Malik hadthe nerve to laugh. He waited untilSeto’s stomach was completely empty before grabbing his arms and steering himtowards the galley below deck. “Okay, rule number one of seasickness; neverstare at the water. It just makes the rocking worse sometimes.”
“Now youtell me.” Seto rolled his eyes but allowed Malik to take him to the galley. Itwas relatively small, just big enough to cook for a party of one dozen maybe, but itwasn’t like Malik was hosting any kind of gatherings on the boat. It had been sitting unusedat the dock for as long as they’d been together, but Seto had never caredenough to ask him why he even had it.
Seto made abeeline for the coffee pot. Malik grabbed his collar and pulled him away.
“What thehell?”
“Rule numbertwo; no caffeine.”
“I’m goingto die.”
“And you sayI’m dramatic.” Malik made him sit at the island and prepared him a club sodawith fruit. “Only water and light, fizzy drinks.”
Seto huffedbut accepted the drink; anything to get the taste of regurgitated fish out ofhis mouth. “How do you know all this?”
Malik wassilent for a moment, a dark cloud passing over his face. “When I was leadingthe Ghouls I would only travel by boat. Planes scared the shit out of me.”
Seto hummedan acknowledgement, but didn’t speak. He rarely did when Malik talked about hispast; he just made sounds to show he was listening and to encourage Malik toelaborate if he wanted. Today, it seemed, he didn’t.
“Haven’t youbeen on a boat before?” he asked instead, watching Seto drink his drink.
“Twice. Oncefor a business party my step father threw, and again before Atem and Yugidueled.”
“Were younot sick then?”
“No. Thosewere much bigger boats. They didn’t rock as much.”
When Setofinished his club soda Malik took his hands and lead him to the stateroom. Itwas more like a hotel bedroom with the way it was decorated, with a large, plush bed to one side and a TV on a dresser on the other. There werecomfortable chairs here and there and plenty of light to let Kaiba sleep whilekeeping Malik’s nightmares away. Malik laid Seto down on the satin sheets andbegan unbuttoning his shirt. A spark of arousal shot through him, but he pushedMalik’s hands away.
“As much asI’d love to, not now.”
Maliksnickered. “Oh no, I have absolutely no plans to fuck you while you’re indanger of throwing up on me or my bed. I just figured you’d be more comfortableif you were out of these stuffy clothes.”
“In thatcase, I can do it myself.”
“Ah, but doyou want to.”
Kaibascowled up at him. Malik snickered again and finished unbuttoning Seto’s shirt.Seto sat up and allowed Malik to pull the fabric from his body, then lifted hiships so Malik could remove his pants. Despite his still churning stomach Setowanted Malik to remove his boxers, too, and kiss his hips and thighs the waySeto liked it and make his whole outing worth the indignity of a lost lunch.
Alas, Malikfolded his clothes and went to lay them on the dresser.
“Can I havemy phone back.” It was more of a demand than a request, and he held out hishand expectantly.
“Nope. Rulenumber three; no reading.”
“Damn,Malik. I can’t have my phone, my coffee, or sex? And you prefer sailing toflying?”
Malik turnedand winked at him. “I’m not the one who gets seasick.”
“When we getto dry land I’m going to find the nearest hotel, shove your face to the bed,and fuck you until you’re begging to travel back by private jet.”
Maliklaughed, a sound that always made Seto’s chest swell with delight for somefucking reason or another. “Keep talking like that and you’ll just get yourself worked up.” He pointed to thetenting in Seto’s boxers.
Seto yankedthe sheets over him.
Malikgiggled and disappeared into the bathroom. He returned with the trash can andset it on Seto’s side of the bed. Then he slipped out of his pants, leaving hisshirt on, and crawled under the sheets next to Seto. His arms slid around hismiddle and he pressed a trio of kisses to Seto’s bare shoulder, then leanedeven closer and kissed the corner of Seto’s mouth. Seto sighed contently, turninghis head just enough to let their lips connect. The kiss was chaste, neitherreally wanting to do much more until Seto brushed his teeth.
When theymoved apart Seto rolled over so they were facing each other. Malik kissed himagain, then rested his head on his chest. “Sleep,” he cooed, and Seto hummed, notrealizing how tired he actually was until Malik’s arms had wrapped around him.He closed his eyes, ready to doze off, but his stomach decided to ruin thepeaceful moment with the very last remains of his lunch.
Maliksnickered and rubbed his back as he shoved his face into the trash can. “Okay,I give up. Next time we can take a plane.”
